Frequently asked questions

I deleted something by mistake. Can I get it back?
Deleted photos and videos first move to the "Recently Deleted" album on your device, where iOS keeps them for 30 days. During that time you may be able to restore them from the Photos app (Albums > Recently Deleted). After they are permanently erased from that album, they cannot be recovered. If you use iCloud Photos, a deletion syncs to your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

Can I add a note to a photo or video?
Yes. Notes are saved locally on your device.

What happens when I share an item that has a note?
The App opens the iOS Share Sheet and copies the note text to the clipboard so you can paste it. Other apps on your device may be able to read the clipboard, subject to the controls iOS provides.

Which languages does Sweep support?
Japanese, English, French and Spanish.
